Anfi U.K. Members' Group - Committee

The Group is run by a committee elected by members. This meets about 3 times a year to manage the operation of the group, with a quorum of 5 members.
Out of 9 committee members there are 4 formal roles - Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer. The other roles include Membership Secretary, Newsletter Editor, Social Secretary, Rentals & Resales, and Webmaster.

The Committee's roles include:

- to maintain a website providing information to members only on travel opportunities, resort updates, bar and restaurant guides, places of interest on Gran Canaria

- to produce regular newsletters - to provide an exchange, rental and resale facility on the Group’s website

- to manage the funds of the Group ensuring expenses are budgeted, subscriptions and fees are collected, and payments authorised

- to maintain membership record

- to arrange, encourage and support social meetings for Group members both on Gran Canaria and in the UK

- to ensure the continued growth and development of the Group

At each AGM 3 members stand down and an election held to fill the vacancies. The committee is a friendly co-operative group, so if you do join Anfi U.K. - please do think about helping out on articles, research, organising events, etc. If we all help a little everyone benefits.
