Message from Bruce Bailey

Dear ABC Members,

For the past 3 - 4 years I have been asked to stand as a candidate for the Beach Club Committee at Anfi.

Work and family commitments have meant that this has not been possible until now. Having retired in April, I am in a position to be able offer my services to support the committee and all owners at Anfi Beach Club.

This year I have been nominated for committee and am pleased to advise you that I will be standing for election.

My background is in building renovation and maintenance and I hope I can ensure that the overall maintenance standards at Anfi Beach Club do not fall.

If elected, one of my aims is to do my best to see that the maintenance of the apartments is of the highest standards expected by all owners.

To secure election, I hope I can call on all group members at Anfi Beach Club to support my nomination and to vote for me when the election papers are received shortly.

If you have any problems with completing the papers when they arrive, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I shall be at Anfi in August for the AGM. All voting papers have to be sent be sent directly to Anfi but, if you agree to support me, I would be obliged if you could send me a photocopy of your voting/proxy paper so that I am able to keep track of the votes cast.

My address is:-

21 Kingfisher Drive, Brandon, Suffolk IP27 0TZ

Many thanks,

Bruce E. Bailey

NB There is some confusion on the correct procedure in completing the Proxy/Ballot form.

It should be done as below

To complete correctly you must do the following

On the front [PROXY FORM]  you must tick one of the boxes and appoint someone to put you ballot in the box at the meeting.

1. You can either tick and name me as your proxy
2..Tick the Managements Company as your proxy [Not recommended]
3. Tick the President of the Committee as your proxy

Option 1 is best, I shall be at the meeting. or option 3

You must sign and date at the bottom of the box

On the BALLOT Paper side of the form  you must sign in the box relating to your decision.

1. You can vote FOR, AGAINST or allow your Proxy to decide
2. You can vote FOR, AGAINST or allow your Proxy to decide
3. You must sign your name in the box adjacent to the person you wish to vote for or sign in the PROXY DECISION box to allow your Proxy to vote for you.

I recommend you cast a vote in each case and not leave it to the Proxy.
